Orange Is The New Black’s Kimiko Glenn Sounds Alarm On Alleged Pay Discrepancy Between Actors On The Netflix Series

Kimiko Glenn (Peni Parker in the Spider-Verse series) took to TikTok over the weekend to highlight comments she made in the New Yorker recently, highlighting the alleged disparity in pay between the actors. in Orange is the New Black and the lack of rest on future streams. The New Yorker article also mentions a previous social media post by Glenn in which she scanned her phone’s camera over claiming SAG-AFTRA royalties for $27.30. OTINB ran on Netflix from 2013 to 2019, and earnings reports show that if appearing in multiple episodes, Glenn currently receives two to four cents per episode.

Elsewhere in the article, other actors talk about how they were also disillusioned with their pay during the early and subsequent years.
