The first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has arrived. As expected, it teases the return of the iconic Call of Duty villain, Makarov. The trailer uses both live-action sequences and footage from the game, it seems, and don’t get too excited, because there isn’t much in the way of gameplay here. This is just the first phase of Activision’s announcement plans for Modern Warfare III, as the company has more in store for an in-game reveal event inside Warzone on August 17.

Modern Warfare III releases on November 10, with a multiplayer beta rumored to take place beforehand. Keep checking back with GameSpot for the latest on Modern Warfare III.
